We had a long talk about his accomplishments as president, a position that holds no executive power and thus relies on persuasion and building consensus. We discussed Estonia’s rapid digitisation, which revolutionised a poor country and made it the envy of governments around the world. And we talked about his work spreading the gospel of civic digitisation.”
